The QuieTunes 660 combines an AM/FM radio with hearing protection and is also iPod compatible. The radio electronics are separated from hearing protection cavities to avoid problems associated with moisture and sweat that can affect the lifespan of the electronics. The earmuffs feature a four-hour automatic shut-off, and the sound generated by the speakers is limited to a safe level by a gain limiter.
